March open meet - map reading + more
Sorry for the lack of notice but with everything over the last week just didn't get time.
Some of you already did this last year but I think it is definitely worth going over again and if we have time we'll move on to some more stuff too.
We'll be using some laminated maps left over fro the dove house walk so pencils won't work. If you have them please bring OHP markers or similar that will write on the laminate. The maps are Landranger but scaled up so normal romers won't work - I'll upload a modified file shortly for you to print out yourself.
If anyone has them bring OS Landranger 105 and/or 106 too please - nice overlap on those 2 so can use either. If not any OS will be handy too so you have a Key/Legend to refer to.
Also - BRING YOUR WALLETS - Steven and I have a few bits of Mac Challenge 2010 memorabilia to auction off in aid of Macmillans so be prepared to dig deep folks.
We've got 4 bottles of the one and only brew of Macmillan 4x4 Challenge beer and a goodie bag from Britpart to be sold either as one or split up - if I can find anything else I'll bring it along.
If anyone is interested in half eaten sandwiches, sat on mars bars, half drunk bottles of pop or genuine welsh mud speak now, we've got them all in spades, particularly the later - literally.
