Flash Warning of
- Widespread Icy Roads

For the following areas
- NE England (Severe)
- Cumbria (Severe)
- N Yorkshire (Severe)

Following today's rain, sleet and snow showers, widespread ice will
form on untreated roads and pavements across parts of northern
England. The public are advised to take extra care and refer to the
Highways Agency for further advice on traffic disruption on
motorways and trunk roads.
